We do not become champions when we win the championship game. We become champions in the days, weeks, and years spent training for the Championship game. The winning performance is merely the demonstration of our victorious character.
While spectators are watching us and commenting on our performance from the safety of the sidelines we must ignore them and focus our attention on winning. At the end of the day, what the critic thinks does not matter. The only thing of importance to a Champion is victory.
